Porto's pre-season presentation was just now.

All players in their squad for this season were announced, including the ones who weren't physically present, eg Jackson Martinez who is on holiday from the World Cup.

No Mangala.

Interestingly the FC Porto website have the player profile section, all the profiles carry an image of the player except Mangala, it has been removed, not long to wait now.

Good spot, they might want to do something about their background picture though...

To be honest Im pretty sure its us holding up this deal, why on earth would we start paying a player who is on holidays? Sagna was a different case as he wasn't under contract and would be free to speak to anyone, Zucillini, Willy and Fernando would be available for preseason which will help them get to know their new team mates and our style of play. Cant think of one reason why we would start paying his wages when he wont be available for afew weeks plus the 32mil will rack up abit of interest remaining in our account for an extra month. Pretty sure he will be heading to Manchester when his holidays are over.

Why is he on his holidays now? If City could sign him now they would. You don't hang about with a big transfer deal. I'm sure it will get done in time, but if it was done, we'd know

If City coul sign him now they would, and he'd join up immediately. Players don't holiday on the 28th July unless the have been in the World Cup Final
