Isn't it simply a case of waiting for a player to be sold to ensure there is NO FUCKING WAY we do not hit our net spend target?

I would assume once rodwell is done it will be announced

You'd assume right mate.

But our spending is within the £49 even with Mangala. I thought any funds from Rodwell et al would go towards another purchase?

Unless the maths is wrong, there's no need to "make sure". Which is why I don't buy this logic of having to sell someone else before this deal's announced.

How do you know those figures are bang on?

Fernando's was released, as just under £12m in fact.

Caballero was initially reported as £6m but corrected by many outlets at £4.4m possibly rising to £6m

Zuculini's is a reported fee as is Mangala's.

However, they're not going to be off by £10m, or else I could say the same about Rodwell's deal...

Hopefully we don't sign him as he looks shit and we are being done over for £30 million big time. Seems to have touted himself everywhere over the last few months to avoid signing for us.

Well that's why he's signing for us and not you. *sniff*

In the Porto games I have seen he has looked very poor in a weak league, also all over the place in the Europa league as well so what have you seen to qualify him being a world beater worth £30 million? Look I hope I'm wrong buts its stupid to only think he must be good because we are signing him but I know that's how most fans think on transfers.

If we offered £50 million for Johnny Evans you would be on here saying what a good player he now is....

3 managers is 2 seasons will have you looking like you're all over the place with new tactics and formations etc. The entire Porto team had a down year last year amongst all the turmoil. He also had some good games against Frankfurt in the Europa league. Some seem to pinpoint the Sevilla game when they reference poor Europa league campaign and nothing else.

All the fees considered are including add ons are they not? Otherwise we could buy Reus for 1 million with a 40 million appearance fee.

I imagine as add ons aren't guaranteed they work the same as the wage bonuses; at the very least initial fee's being paid out this window will count towards the limit I would think.

Are you saying that johnny evans is a better player than mangala by about 20m pounds, and that the people running our club are paying 30m for a shit player.

Why do they need to be out by £10m? They only need to be out by a combined £1.3m according to your calculations.
