Re: Eliaquim Mangala

3rd party ownership is a bigger FFP dodge than anything attached to City.

Porto will buy a player then sell 20-80% of his sporting rights to these hounds, making money back while still having the player.

It's banned in England yet UEFA have yet to implement a worldwide ban and thus are giving some an unfair advantage in the FFP stakes. A bit like taxes not being factored in really...

This one must be very messy as it's taking City forever to sort out. Doyen may be the problem. Mangala's ownership breakdown: FC Porto 56.6%, Doyen Group 33.3%, Robi Plus 10.1%

BBC: City are unconcerned about the delay in the Mangala deal, which relates to Mangala's third-party ownership. Expect deal to go through.
3rd parties should be banned from football forever. money greedy c**ts

I suggest we call their bluff, tell them to fuck off and we move on, there must surely be a plan B for this scenario

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

We all make one of these and turn up at the Etihad 9 am Monday for a seed of truth?

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

One assumes we have to negotiate with each as to his release from whatever they contract they have. In effect it is like negotiating for three players.

To be hoped so. Eleven days to the new season and we're without our Argies, Lescott has gone, Mangala's no nearer coming in, Nasty is being overlooked and Boyata is getting more game time than anyone else. It's not looking too good is this.

Have'nt gone back through all the thread but didn't someone confirm that Porto had bought back the 3rd party elements and that City were therefore just dealing with them?

Apparently that info was wrong as BBC is saying that we are dealing with the 3rd party still.

The BBC also said we were signing Benatia and that Isco and Sanchez were ours.......they're guessing just like anyone outside the club.

And even if Porto had bought them back, that would only make these delays all the more baffling.
