Presuming the stock exchange is shut over the weekend and fuck all has been announced by porto(or has it?),can't see nothing happening till Monday/Tuesday.

can you narrow it down a bit, which monday or tuesday ?

Going off the 560+ pages on this thread I'm not the only one that has concerns in the way we've handled this deal...so please, try to keep your replies in a adult and respectful manner....if your capable! Crazy how some cant handle a true adult discussion about the team we love....

Expectation is rising now and I think, given that the Portuguese media is referring to his move to us is all but signed sealed and delivered, it will only be a matter of a day or two before the club OS will make the announcement that he will be with us.

Deals that are all but signed, sealed and delivered usually move to signed, sealed and delivered fairly quickly, there being no good reason not to. This one seems to have been all but signed, sealed and delivered for weeks.

The Stock Exchange announcement would not delay anything. All it is there for is to make all market participants aware of financial material information. I know the rules about Stock Exchange announcements because I have made many myself.

you can do business over the weekend, as long as an announcement is made in advance of the market opening on the Monday. This is to ensure that everyone trades in shares in theory knowing the same information as their counterparty.


Do you really think that the world's top companies cease to do business over the weekend, because it can't be announced on the stock exchange?

Personally, I'm less concerned about him signing and more concerned about the fact we have been incapable of getting this deal done even after 7months of talks.....3rd party or not.....City knew the terms and still haven't got this locked down..I think City have been busy doing New York City contracts and came back to the table late....meaning less time to sort out the small details, like 3rd party owners!!!!!....The kid could have and should have been in the squad sooner and some where down the line City have messed up.....Makes me laugh when I now read "we did our business early"....clearly we decided who we wanted early but as for getting our business done early.......we are way off the mark! imho!!;)
