I don't get this, PSG bought the young centre back Marquinhos from Roma for €31.4 million last Summer, and the season before that they got Thiago Silva for €42 million, why would they pay another €40 million this Summer on another centre back?

Unless they are going to lose Silva to Barcelona?

Not really even with their sponsorship there turnover was only a few million more than ours

Mehdi Benatia is the guy we need. Going down a storm in Italy. Solid as a rock and the reason why Roma concede so few goals. Fast, good in the air and would be perfect alongside Vinny. Yes he's not a left footer but he is top notch. And he scores goals to. If not Mangala then this guy is someone we should be looking at.

A shame about Vertonghen - he would suit perfectly Pellegrini's style now - I'm sure had he been in charge at City at the time we'd have been in for him,

£10m Spurs paid right? In todays market I think they got a great deal - Spurs would only sell to us if they could shaft us with a ridiculous price for hium - so I don't see it happening ....
