Anyone know what the world record fee is for a central defender? He's hardly got any experience, only has one cap for his country and has never played in a proper league. £30 million ish is a huge gamble. £45 million is insanity on a whole new level.

They are probably still bs. Anyway that's still £30 million for what is basically a totally unproven player at the top level and a very young one at that that.
We have also offered to pay them for fernando now so he doesn't go n a free in the summer so you would have thought the package we are offering is more than on the table from other clubs. Monaco are signing Berbaflop on loan I don't actually believe they would spend this much on a 22 year old defender.
