Eliaquim Mangala

I personally believe Stones has the potential to improve, especially if we can keep Vinny on the pitch, for him to play alongside. Hopefully with more coaching, we will get the defender that we paid the huge fee. I was just always concerned when Lescott, and Mangala had the ball at their feet, because they always appeared uncomfortable, a bit like a wounded deer, so I really don't think they had the ability to adopt to our current system. Both were probably classed as a half decent defender, well Lescott more so, but I really wouldn't want either back, as they wouldn't be able to get to the level we are searching for.

Looking at the other names joining him,i wouldnt read too much into his longevity here.I suspect its more 'shop window' thinking.

As ive stated previous though,as a 4th option,he's better than most, and he could save us a fortune - i wouldn't be averse to the idea.

Or backup left back after Alves shafted us. Use him for a year in that position as back up, and spend the £30m earmarked for Bertrand on a new right back. Only my thoughts and opinion on the matter I'm a kfa.

I rather just buy Inigo Martinez and bin Kolarov. I read somewhere Martinez can play as a LB too. Could also be played on the left side of a back 3.

I doubt it.

Only on tour because Otamendi for some reason isn't.

Denayer is in the US but won't be at City come the start of the season.

Denayer is only there because he thinks he's too big to go to Girona on loan the prick. Shop window and hope for some interest. Very probably the same situation for Nasri and Mangala.

I was about to suggest a recoaching to DM but remembered how awkward he was in front of this own box.

Wish him the best. I held out hope that he might somehow come good under pep but that never was realistic I suppose.
