Eljero Elia

Elia is only out for a few weeks. He had a terrific start in Germany and immediately got the nickname ''Die FlankenGott'' = God of the Wings.

Since the winter break he had a slight dip in performances and had a couple of injuries but hopefully he will be back to his cracking best at the World Cup. He will probably start as a sub since Holland's frontline will be playing with Van Persie as a lone striker with Robben, Sneijder and Van der Vaart behind him.

2008/09 FC Twente 34 9 Eredivisie

I thought Kuyt normally got a game ahead of Sneijder? He did against Scotland in the qualifiers anyway. I was pretty happy when i saw Sneijder wasn't playing, not that it helped. Elia scored the winner.

take Paolo Guerrero of HSV. He hits everything. Great striker. lol

At that is right there is Petrovs replacement.

Elia on the left and A.J on the right, interchanging during the game and causing the fullbacks all types of hell!

I hope he ends up here!
