As an unbiased advisor you would probably tell him to go to the rags. He would be their only decent player alongside the ageing rat. So guaranted game time. With us he has to fight for a spot. But it could go sour there again as they need more quality all over the squad.

The only thing that might sway Anderson to the dark side is with Guardiola no longer being in charge but appparently he has already turned them down once.

Maybe O’Reilly, think if Reijnders is going to find a spot it would be as a 10, though Foden and Cherki would be ahead of him. Depends really how Maresca wants to use O’Reilly, if he sees him as predominantly a midfielder then it would most likely need Reijnders to leave to give us 6 players for 3 spots. Whatever happens though think Anderson would back himself to play alongside Rodri.

The rags have been shit for the majority of Anderson's life, especially where he would've started to watch football properly etc.. we are infinity more attractive to players than the scum with or without pep. Especially around this age.

That's my thought process, just get England's future midfield locked in with these 2, and they are still some young and can improve loads from a strong base.

I don't think that will matter as much as people say. What are his other options domestically? Carrick, Arteta, Alonso... It's not an elite list anyway.

Pep would undoubtedly attract players but so will our immense wages and recent history of winning things.

Anderson is stepping up from Forest. It's a no brainer to pick City over the rags when you want to win things.

I’m sure we can recover most of what we spent on 2 of those 3. Reijnders will attract a lot of interest and Nico G is a decent player.

You don’t spend 100m on a CM if he’s not the first name on the team sheet.

I agree but we can't recover the time spent on going through them, basically spend more at first and get on with it, rather than piss about for a few seasons looking for a bargain.
Anderson is one of the best CM'S there is in the PL at 23
