Let’s wait and see. I think his final ball is better than Sav who is faster but not as smart as McAdo. Perhaps Sav will step up but I’m not so sure.

My sense is that Rodri will leave this summer too. So I'd like Nico G, Anderson, Scott, and Kova to form the core of our CM base.

No point in letting Savinho/Grealish go only for Doku to get injured or Mubama loaned out and then Haaland ends up out for a while.

The price is relevant though, because it’s often the price that puts us off buying the right players and we sometimes then buy multiple wrong players for more money than the price we didn’t like for the right player.

Players’ profiles, strengths, weaknesses are entirely known before they pull on the shirt. Every transfer comes with a degree of risk but it is clear which ones come with less risk than others. If nobody knows whether players are the right player for the club then just sack all scouts if it’s such a roll of the dice. Just pull names out of a hat because nobody knows if they are right for us anyway.
