I think he will.

He’s trying to get used to a team that’s trying to get used to itself.

I think some had higher expectations of him coming in hitting the ground running as more experienced and Serie A player of the year. Maybe some comparing him to Haaland or Mahrez in the way they came in and started as more established and not labelled as project players.

Agreed. I love Semenyo, but he'd be a bit of a luxury now, whereas Anderson (or an equivalent) is essential. I'd prioritize Guehi over Semenyo, also, as Ake will probably leave in January and neither Dias nor Gvardiol have been impressive to me recently.
