Elliot Anderson

Hope we move for either him or Wharton in January. The lack of options in central midfield is going to be a problem, unless we can get Rodri and Kovacic back to full fitness soon.

we really need to go and get one of them dont we? Kovacic is rumoured to be out until March and we still are none the wiser if Rodri can stand up to the rigors for the rest of the season which leaves only Gonzalez and Bernardo getting pushed to the edge! Plus if as expected Bernardo and Kovacic go in the summer then a big push for Anderson in January might just help us in our title fight.

I don't think either will be available in January.

Palace risk losing Glasner if they sell, and Forest have the Europa and will be trying to catch up the 7 points to Europe.

dont see him moving in Jan, unless its for AIOT
AIOT?

Divine Mukasa happens to be a big lad, technically very adept, great passing range, lots of goals & assists in him and just happens to be left footed. Sound familiar? Nico O'Reilly to CM where his extra 4 or 5 inches of height can be useful and Mukasa at left back. Saves us £80million or so and I'll settle for a 2% finders fee thank you very much City.

Would prefer Anderson. Wharton doesn’t solve any of our problems off the ball as that isn’t his strength, he’s not particularly quick and Kamada does most of his running.

On the ball he’s brilliant, great touch and control and a wonderful eye for a pass but again he’s never striding up the pitch and breaking lines.

Don’t see how he improves us other than in creating chances on the break with his passing, and perhaps replacing a little of what Bernardo gives us in dictating the game.

should of said alot. not sure why it was messed up

What an incredibly limited perspective. Regardless of the fact I was postulating what we can do, in-game, with players we have, we also have Gvardiol, Aké and Lewis as LB depth anyway. The first 2 having played more at LB than our first choice LB...
None of those 3 are depth in terms of quality as a fullback.

Its why we are so dependent on Nunes at RB, nobody else can do it.

Its not a limited perspective, it's a realistic one, unlike yours.

Could we not try the LB we bought in the summer? He's barely been given a chance.
Like I said before, you can plan RAN over O Reilly to rest him.

But the suggestion was to play RAN to let O Reilly play midfield, but then there is no depth at LB.

Yes of course, realistic and states that a guy with over 100 appearances at LB, including 45 with City, isn't quality depth at LB. Bizarre but no point further conversing with you

Not worth the figures being quoted for me, not sure he makes that much of a difference in our team.

May not be a realistic option in view of price/ availablity etc, but I think he looks a better option than Wharton for our requirements.

Been impressed with his performances for Forest and England, providing a solid midfield option but with enough vision for playing progressively.

I wouldn't be surprised if Glasner lasts the seasons regardless.

I think he ends up the United manager come the end of the season.

No chance Amorim lasts.

I agree with Anderson and Forest. I would try their arm in January, but I think they will know they have a chance of the Europa.
