Elliot Anderson

I wouldn't be surprised if Glasner lasts the seasons regardless.

I think he ends up the United manager come the end of the season.

No chance Amorim lasts.

I agree with Anderson and Forest. I would try their arm in January, but I think they will know they have a chance of the Europa.

No way Glasner quits. Doesn't make any sense for him whatsoever

He nearly quit in the summer mate.

Told them if they sold Guehi to Liverpool he walks.

If a United comes in for him he is leaving mate.

Regardless of how bad they are, as a manager you can't turn down jobs like that.

Shows that are us no loyalty either way? Sell a certain player and I’ll leave but I’ll also leave if I want to? We have been BLESSED with Pep

Will cost an eye watering amount in January if Forest can even be tempted to part with him but that's the price you pay in January when you fuck up in the summer. We can kiss goodbye to hopes of trophies this season if we don't strengthen midfield in January so that's got to be worth the January premium.

There are times where you just have to stump up the cash and this feels like one of them. Not even neccesarily on Anderson, it could be somebody else but whoever their top midfield target is, pay it and get him in and do it early, don't waste a month trying to save a few quid.

Agreed.

We should look at it like this:

Pay the extra £25m and get him 6 months earlier, avoiding any bidding wars with other potential suitors in the league and allow him to have 6 months with the squad ready for next year.

Whoever buys him in the summer won't be getting him for a pre-season anyway. England will get to the QF at least looking at the routes meaning he will take a holiday upto the start of August anyway.

I would rather give a player a full pre-season than let him come straight in first game of next season with a big price tag over his head.

That extra £25-£30m we pay in January could be the difference between winning the league or CL, or both.

Have to say have not seen much of Anderson but will do in our gave v Forest in December. But is he that good?

Statistically very very good this season.

If you look at this, you can see if he improves his key passes slightly and his carrying (which will increase in a better team with more possession), he will probably be considering up there as the most all round midfielder in the league.

We did it last January. Overpaid for Marmoush but he came in made an instant impact and helped us reach pur aims of securing CL football for this season. We wouldnt currently be in the CL and benefitting from the income that brings without that signing last January.

100% agree

Best £60m the club has spent in recent years that was.

Marmoush got us to the FA Cup final and played a significant role getting us CL football.

It would have cost us £60m+ had we ended up getting Europa.

Sometimes you have to bite the bullet. Not everything has to have fair value.

Could argue he cost us the Cup Final by missing a penalty
