They needed to sell to meet financial requirements and, already having several established central midfielder, it was good money at the time. He has since taken his game up several levels playing regularly at Forest. Certainly changed my opinion of him in last 6- 8 months.

Newcastle sold him because of PSR, he'd still be at Newcastle if it wasnt for their finances, not getting into their centre mid positions at 21 isn't a slight on him at all, you could argue its the best Central midfield in the country and all 3 currently playing there would improve us.

As usual you are wrong, he signed in 2024 not in the summer, and was part of a team that challenged for top 4 most of last season.
