I cant see us being able to do it under PSR, especially as we're about to spend £65m on another player. Rodri returning mitigates the need for a midfielder a bit until the summer, but I can then see us signing 2 midfielders (one of them Anderson).

He doesn’t mitigate anything, not when Nico is injured too. All it takes is one overstretch and we’re back to square one.

Honestly I don't see Forest selling in January even if we "go for it". They're at real risk of relegation, especially if West Ham get their act together. Makes sense from their perspective to keep hold of him until the summer at least.

I'm happy to wait til the summer for Anderson. Bernardo and Kovacic will both move on and create space in our squad for him. Semenyo needed now imo with Savinho's inconsistency and Bobb's injury/possible loan.

It looks as though its more down to squad positions than psr especially as its changing to revenue based next year & Uefa are starting at 90% dropping down to 70% but I don't know if the premier league are doing the same.

Nico looked like he got a dead leg from a knee to his hamstring last night so I dont expect him to be out for long & just having Rodri back in the second half we looked like we were back to our old style of dominating the ball.

Foden, Cherki, Reijnders are all very talented footballers when we're on the front foot but aren't going to out muscle physical the likes of Arsenal or Newcastles midfield.

You would think that Bobb & Ake will go in the winter transfer window but we still have Grealish, Akanji out on loan on big contracts, with big decisions on Ortega & Stones.

I would presume the club know what is happening with Bernardo in the summer & although I dont rate Andersen as highly as others, he would be a very good replacement for Berny.
