Elon Musk

Rejoined Twitter the other day so I could see what was being posted during the past few days (and deleted it again).

Hadn't used it since this **** bought it, but immediately noticed that Elon's tweets are front and centre no matter what you're looking at. Muted straight away. But one tweet (and this is probably the same for all of his tweets) was the 'protect *all communities' had fucking loads of replies.

And after scrolling down, and down, and down, and down... every fucking reply was some blue tick **** saying 'he's not wrong', 'is he wrong??', 'Elon is right'. All the same replies, all the same language used.

There were loads of other replies waaaaaaaaaaay down the list disagreeing.

Now I'm under the impression that most of those are bots. But its almost as if those bots are given priority over anything else. Fuck, them are probably bots he's set up. So, I'll never use it again.

Turned? It's always been full of nutjobs and bots. Reddit now the same. Facebook was hideous last time I looked. The entire internet has slowly turned into a cesspit ot right, left and bots.

Why anybody would engage with anybody on these sites is beyond me. Least on here the only fucker you have to avoid is Bigga.
 
I know its Stan Collymore but still. This would once have led to a lifetime ban.

You always get more sensible discussions about issues/politics on forums that are about something else. The only thing everyone has in common on here is City (and Manchester to a lesser extent), which means when a political topic comes up, it's ordinary people discussing it, not some nutters going around trying to spread their extremist agenda.
 
The government really need to do something about him now has he's becoming more unhinged and dangerous.

Yesterday he reposted a tweet from Britain First showing an image of a fake news story about the government considering building detainment camps in The Falklands. Almost 2 million people saw it in just under 30 minutes before he was obviously told it was fake and he deleted it but the damage was already done as almost 5 thousand people reposted it.

For me one of two things happened. Either he actually thought it was true before being told it was fake thus deleting the post or he knew it was fake but reposted anyway to see what reaction he would he get and to see how far he can push the boundaries.

No it isn’t I did it last week, don’t miss the thing at all, full of bits, twats and porn these days, although the last one was acceptable ;)

I’ve never joined it, I used to look at 8 or so accounts for info but never signed up. Since they stopped non members. Viewing its hardly been a loss. Same when I deleted FB, which actually did wonders for my mental health.

Its not that hard to come off. Just delete the app of your phone. I did. I use threads now. Most info on x also gets posted on threads, you might miss some stuff but you don't have to put up with wall to wall BS. And you end up spending much less time on it.

I was talking more about the wider public. It’s clear millions are addicted to Twitter and can’t be without it. That’s the problem and that’s why Musk can continue his right wing crusade.
 
I clicked on that profile who was abusing Collymore last night. The amount of awful crap he's allowed to post is staggering. Then you read the comments, pro Hitler etc. Its unbelievable

EDIT: Just seen it's a "parody" account using someone else's picture. The content is still disgusting.
