Sure there is some editorial bias in what the main media outlets report including the BBC. But social media and twitter is surely 99% fake. And because of that very damaging in many ways.Was at a party last night, someone randomly asked me if I watched BBC news, I said yes, then he asked if I use X to which I replied no as it's a cesspit. He then went on to say he thinks the BBC cover stuff up and only tell us the news they want us to hear, where as on X it's uncensored so the truth can be relayed. I really couldn't be arsed so just shook my head and spoke to someone else.

The concern is many young people don't listen to mainstream news, and if they do follow news at all, it's through social media. Worrying times when so much of it is just rubbish.Sounds like the type person booked as comedic entertainment rather than invited.
