I'd imagine if anyone gets caught doing this they'll become an unperson.
if nobody gets caught doing this then entire police forces are getting some DOGE streamlining.
I'm in no way advocating attacks on people's property, but a potential tesla buyer seeing and hearing of incidents such as this will surely have second thoughts on purchasing an item that is a target for vandalismThe irony is that incidents of criminality like this cause the least financial harm because the dealer is (a) likely to be a franchise and (b) will probably be fully insured.
The real harm is the level of dissatisfaction this kind of thing reveals.
It is in the alarming drop in sales in such a short period that the real harm lies. People are voting with their wallets.

Great news, just that that **** isn’t getting everything his own way but such a shame for the people employed by the ****.

Pffft. Me gran would just pick it up and chuck it in the garden if she was still around. No messing. No, they get a massive tea towel, run it under the tap, wring it out then toss it over the motor
I don't say anything out loud. I just think "wanker" and drive on.Am I the only person when driving and I see a tesla I say out loud to myself "swastikar"
Hmm I think it's very far-fetched to say that none of it is happening, certainly in terms of space. It's also certainly silly because it isn't like anybody else will go anywhere near close if it weren't for SpaceX.I do think a problem for Tesla even before Musk went full Nazi is that A) while they were instrumental in setting up a charging network in the US, EV drivers are much less dependent on them, B) the market is full of better and cheaper EVs, which means you've only got brand value and the bran value is tanking and C) the stock has always been massively, embarrassingly overpriced built around a cult of personality. Domestic robots, colonizing Mars, big talk. None of it is happening, and people are seeing up close how much of a bullshitter he is and how thinly spread he is.
If you think it's far fetched to say that no one is colonizing Mars, in the short, medium or long term, then I have some SpaceX shares to sell you. ;)Hmm I think it's very far-fetched to say that none of it is happening, certainly in terms of space. Remove SpaceX from the launch industry and the launch industry no longer exists.

It's a ridiculous statement though. The risk of it happening or not happening doesn't even fall upon SpaceX specifically as a company. It all depends upon whether resources can be made available to do it.Still coming up with some top shite. Kudos to you.
That little graph of yours doesn’t rebut anything he said. It’s certainly not remotely close to colonising fucking Mars.
Total Recall wasn’t a documentary. Mars will never be colonised. It's a ridiculous statement though. The risk of it happening or not happening doesn't even fall upon SpaceX specifically as a company. It all depends upon whether resources can be made available to do it.
The entire annual NASA budget today is $25bn which in today's money is less than 50% of what the US made available to go to the moon so why should anybody be surprised? This is like saying the UK launch industry should do better, well yeah if we put £25bn quid into it per year then maybe it could be but we ain't got £25bn quid.
The biggest change that SpaceX has made to the launch industry is the huge reduction in launch costs. That was the main blocker because currently if you gave a contract to ULA or similar then the entire NASA budget would be gone after a handful of launches which is why SLS is a shambles.
If you want to blame somebody for not getting close to Mars then blame the bloody US government who need to fund it.
Going to Mars was a goal implemented by the Obama administration, not Elon Musk.Total Recall wasn’t a documentary. Mars will never be colonised.
Travelling to Mars is different to colonising it.Going to Mars was a goal implemented by the Obama administration, not Elon Musk.
