Don't know if it has been mentioned - If Hart had been out for the season in Jan then they would of sent him back so they didn't have to pay his wages.

If they let us have him back now, they can have him for another year - sounds like a good deal to me.

He'll be our number 1 next season. Not a chance he'll go back.

bbc are now saying they have information and expect our request for an emergency loan will be granted

If this is true, would expect Hart to be back here by tomorrow night.

There will be a lot of negotiating going on, Joe is defo coming back to us now for next season - that's a cert with Shay's long term injury.

But we do have a number of squad players who take McLeish's fancy, and could be allowed to go out on loan to Brum next season.

Been thinking the same thing all day,There may not be back handers flying around but there can be a promise of good deal for the odd player we dont need next year.
Plus we can fuck over Aston Villa for them.
And its good for Jo to get a head start on Shayfor next year.

Re: Emergency keeper loan [Merged]

Far from going on about his inexperiance, it may work in our favour by keeping the defence focused on protecting him, thus avoiding the odd go to sleep moments we get now an then.

He`s 6-5 an aint going to be knocked about in the area, he seems to be popular with the sqaud so that extra "One of our own" effort might tip the balance...........an he aint a complete stranger to how we play.

Re: Emergency keeper loan [Merged]

So the 'sensible' choices rest with the following;

James (Portsmouth) - He is a cert (barring injury.....again!) to play for his club at Wembly and enjoy a relatively stress free end to the season, why would he come to us for 3 games and possibly ruin his end-of-the-season. Money apart (and thats a big issue i know) wtf would Pompey allow it? Also i am sure that there is a rule that you cannot play for 3 clubs in one season and this technicallity could apply here?

Harper (Newcastle)[/b] - Why would the Geordies send us their keeper, get a grip!

Carson (WBA) [/b]- Again, why would the Baggies send us their keeper, also is he up to this - i think not!

Weaver - Ahhh yes those nostalgic trips down memory lane, he hasnt played a game at this level for a lifetime and is 'back-up' keeper at Burnley FFS to "The Beast" FFS !!

Schmeichel - As i said in another thread...........Noooooooooo !! He was taking the piss out of our situation before he was shunted out by the club for his 'attitude' and good riddance - he isnt anywhere near Prem League class anyway...leave well alone IMO.........I would rather have his Dad even at his age today!!

So there isnt a sure fire ready made replacement anyway, so lets stick with one of our own, at least he has a vested interest in our results ??

Hands down the guy I'd want. Every other keeper mentioned won't happen. FACT.
