Our average was 42k last year. What was the lowest?

Also bear in mind, Birmingham has a population of 5 million, with fewer football teams than Manchester.(2.5mill) Pretty poor show by Villa and the other Birmingham teams really were attendances are concerned.

36k v West Ham

Worth notingthat that was the 1st home game of the season while a lot of people like myself and my family coudln't make it cos we were still on our hols

Come on lads - where's your brains?

We're in a recession. People who have not got jobs cannot afford to attend Premiership football games.

Also it was Fulham. Also it was on a Sunday. Also it was on Sky.

It will be interesting to see how many tickets we sell for our Carling Cup game against Fulham especially if it is on the telly.

It is because they are a bunch of part-time glory hunting twats, they were all clinging on last year until they lost a few and their fans stopped going. Just like Leeds they are a joke.

Why do people on here always point it out when a decent size club don't sell out? We are guilty of it and we are just opening ourselves up for a barrage really.

Yes but to be fair with got a decent excuse, we've won fuck all for 35 years. Think about it, we get more fans than them and they've had a bit of glory in that time.

To be honest, I can't understand Villa fans most of the time.. booing their own team seems to be their idea of support. I mean, we have people who are never happy here, but that is so much worse.

There're definitely enough excuses not to fill the stadium for them this time, but I've got a feeling it could well become a trend there.
