Empty seats in north stand/family stand

Some comments on here are ridiculous!

Removeable barriers?!?! Some people want to experience good atmosphere!

I went to Bayern midweek and my ticket was in the North Stand had a good view but it is just not for me.. Shite atmosphere and kids running up and down every 2 mins! Dont get me wrong the family stand is a great idea but need reallocating. You can even see it when watching city on the telly kids running about not even bothered about the game! You never see this when watching any other teams always full stands because there family stand allocation is alot smaller. The only way to stop this is making the singing section alot bigger and also the south stand into a singing section and the corner of the colin bell stand. This way the family stand would be alot more compact and people wouldnt leave there seats as more would become available in preffered spots!

cup games have no family restrictions as i said above so you wernt really in the family stand. for this reason most cup games there is a noticeably more strangers around us, particulary at the european games. and sig more adults because cup games are more likely to be evening kick offs. your just proving my point that people are jumping to conclusions about the success of the north stand, and using the cup games as an example of it not working is not right. btw ive never seen a single child running up and down your talking shit, dont come back to the north stand again please.

Sorry howling wolf, i sit in 135 and there are shiteloads of kids fucking about. Anyone who sits in there will verify this. There are also lots of people who bought dad and lad ST's and go with their mates so that it is two seats to each person. They sit together, which leaves single empties dotted all over the show.

my kids are probably the worst behaved kids around us, lol. and the worst they do is stand up at inappropriate moments and shout alot. all the kids around me watch the game and the ones behind me are very knowledgable about other teams players, refs, stats etc which never fails to impress me, cause i barely know any facts about our team.

maybe im just lucky where i am, but who are these parents who let their children run around during the game.

i would be mighily pissed off if they relocated the family stand.

I think everyone needs to look at the bigger picture here which I'm sure the club is. After being born and bred in Ashton, I find myself esconsed in North London. I have 3 kids and every single one of their friends supports Arsenal, Spuds or Chelsea. If I did not have the ability to get them season cards in the family stand to introduce them to everything that it is City, they might well have found withstanding the peer pressure down here much more difficult (although as an Arsenal supporting friend told me his two season tickets just cost him £2.500 they would probably have to Barnet supporters!). However, I simply cannot make it to every single game with late Sunday kick offs and weekday evenings being the most problematic. I can travel up but there's no way I can be getting the kids back at 1:00 am on a school night. However, City now has three dedicated fans it might have missed out on otherwise. Personally, I think a few empty seats now is a price well worth paying for a lifetime of support to come.

simple move to manchester

I have had a season ticket for 2 years for my daughter who is now 5, she doesn't come to every match. I have suggested to the club that they contact all season ticket holders under a certain age to ask if they would attend evening matches, if the answer is no, then get permission to sell the ticket again to boost attendances. I would be quite happy for the tickets to be sold, if I'm not using it or upgrading it.

I don't sit in my seat, moved from 219 to 122 so I could be in bottom tier then just stand with a few mates in the south stand. Downside is I pay bell end prices. It is noticeable that in the standing areas they are well packed in so people definitely doubling up.

i dont know whether this had been posted but i know someone who works for city (a rag) and he gets 4 tickets a match!!
joke i no!! he mustnt sell them because i have noticed this too

Why do we employ rags, there must be unemployed City fans who could do the majority of jobs at our club.

We shouldn't employ Rags, though I so know a City ST holder who works for MUTV.
