Don't care either way about why the seats are empty, but it does look shite on telly!
Fair enough but how would you react if I said I was going to buy a ticket for Chelsea away but not go and deny another Blue the opportunity? The tickets are half price and I've got enough points but the game's 200 miles away so I can't be arsed. Don't think you'd express the same opinion thensquirtyflower said:just like it has sweet FA to do with anyone what he does with the purchase he has made tooGingers Dad said:No and for the want of a better reply that's got sweet FA to do with the argumentsquirtyflower said:I own a nice sports car that I rarely use
My neighbour often looks at it with envy
is it selfish that I don't let him use it?

The fact the jounos can have a peek at this forum and see our reaction must have them laughing like drains , we have probably got the most loyal supporters in the country over the last 20/30 years , we have stared into the abyss and we are still here , why let a few pencil necked scribblers wind us up.

Think that should be past tense now. We clearly don't anymore. We probably used to, but what would make us the best now? Many of our fans can't be arsed turning up unless we play the big 5/6/7 ("blah blah, my ticket and I'll do what I want, blah blah"), our atmosphere is poor, only our away fans redeem us but most away fans are good. A fan base that has grown fat on the spoils of victory and become complacent. It's sad to see the 1894 Group on Twitter practically have to beg fans to sing.
I think your opinions have proved correct by a lot of the comments on this threadLoveCity said:Tim of the Oak said:We have the best support in the country and let's remind people of that!

People will say the atmosphere has been bad a while but it was much better as recently as 2011/12, when there were a lot more witty songs/chants, the Poznan, and backing for the team. If we played Salzburg now instead of 2010, instead of Alan banter there'd be silence and shrugs.
Good someone's listened .just to add the seats simply not sold should read seat not offerered for sale by club.pardoeofftomexico said:It has already been said more than once but some don't seem to be getting it. It is very, very unlikely that there are a significant number of season ticket holders who don't turn up on a regular basis. The empty seats are obviously mainly tickets unsold for whatever reason. The fact that they are all together at the front of the north stand is a clear indication that they are simply not sold. Obviously there are a few who buy a season ticket and don't go to that many games but we are talking about a few not any significant number.
A better question is why there are unsold tickets. If it is the cost then that is your answer.
