End of an era?

Haaland has only just had his season to adapt, he could be a level up next year.

Bernardo and Gundogan let’s wait and see.

Mahrez, Laporte, Cancelo and Walker seem manageable.

The question is if we bring the right players in.

A good rest for everyone at the club. Bring in 3 new quality players. Go for 4 in a row and the champions league again. Possibly sneak another treble in. Bollocks to any transition.
Go for the league and carabou cup.
It has been a great competition for us over the last decade.

Players will come and go, but this era only will end when Pep leaves...
This is the big issue imo. If he is leaving in 2 years, is there an incentive for him to plan for the long term? Will the best players think twice about joining City if they think the manager will be leaving soon?

Well, about the first part, I'm pretty sure Pep will look after this club until the day he leaves. He loves Man City, he has said it in many occasions, and I'd not worry about that.

About the potential new players, they won't mind who's the manager as long as we keep being a big club and winning stuff.

Even though a manager like Pep helps a lot, we're Man City; we won the treble; we're the biggest team in England (and in the world); and we will overcome any adversity, we always do it.
