I also told them what you lot put but I also said they should subsidise the 1894 lot to try and get some atmosphere at a game. If you (1894) get a couple of quid off you owe me a pint.

We need to change the banner from Manchester city thanks you sheikh mansoor, Manchester city fans want even more sheikh mansoor. Christ I know it's been a little disappointing but it's hardly been shit that everything is considered poor. I suppose if we keep taking the sheikh for granted and demanding more he may well just do one.

In fairness to city they have previously offered to contribute financially but 1894G rejected the goodwill gesture as they wished to remain independent from the club and funded by fans.

Of course he will.

You totally misunderstand the view of those supporters that want the club to engage with them better.

No-one is unappreciative of Sheik Mansour, no one is demanding anything unrealistic or unreasonable. We just want to maintain an involvement in the club we have always had.

Can't understand anyone that sees something wrong with that.

After ringing the ticket office 4 times to cancel my season ticket only to get a lazy brain dead knuckle dragger on the other end maybe they should look at this again. It never changes with these fuckers. Where do they get them from?

A lot of things they changed for the better, some things they changed for the worse. No harm in pushing for them to alter those few wrong steps.

Similar comments to you, main gripe is the disconnect I see from the CEO. He thinks of us as customers , when we aren`t ,we are fans and should be treated as such. I asked for a face to face forum to be set up where we the fans and senior board members could exchange views openly.

I live in hope!!!
There may be hope. A few of us from the old PoB attendees met last night (without the club) and discussed a few topics of interest. We had a meeting a couple of months ago and the club (Danny Wilson & Lisa Eaton) asked for the minutes. They got them but we received no response, which was disappointing.

However one of the topics discussed last night was the report of the government's Football Expert Working Group. This has been looking at key issues in foitball for some time and published its recommendations a few months ago. Among these were a requirement for senior executives and other staff from clubs to engage in "structured dialogue" with fan representatives at least twice a year. The whole point of PoB was that it acted as an umbrella group for all fans, whether OSC, people like the 1894 Group, disabled supporters, fanzines or just interested, independent fans to meet with the club and, more importantly, to set the agenda. The report seems to be recommending forums like that be mandatory.

Liverpool & Chelsea already have such fan committees which meet regularly with the club. Chelsea's chairman and the CEO regularly attend these, together with senior staff from various parts of the operation. So many of the issues we brought up last night could have been resolved or avoided if they'd spoken to us beforehand. We are, after all, supposed to be on the same side.

is that it then have you finished with city on a,general match to match basis?

Yes I said I would never go above £600 but kept going anyhow, the pull of actually being there isn't worth the £725, the match day experience(I hate that phrase) is pretty shit. As a customer what they are selling isn't worth the price. I will still see all the games without the annoyance that part of my wages are paying for multi millionaires and fuckwits to not give a shit.

I stopped going to cup games, refused to buy their food and drinks but until people fuck it off football won't change, not a city problem in particular just football in general.

Disappointing season yes but good grief think where we were 2008...... Now pinch yourself cos we are a top top club.
Some are never satisfied and what a future seems promised with Pep.
Wonderful times ahead!
Thank you Sheik Mansour......again!

Same here mate,I'm thinking of not renewing, the traffic coming from N Wales has been shocking this year, worse than I can remember coming and going, and the football has been so disappointing had season tickets since the 70s and I think this year "might" be my last.

Had an e-mail from the Club asking me how I feel about them, any body else had it?

Said I was disappointed with the team, the manager and the director of football.

Also said I felt more distant from the Club than previously and that I felt we had given too much attention to the Champions League to the detriment of the Premier League.

Was also critical of the half time entertainment (naff) and the price of food and beverages.

I hope more of you get a chance to answer the survey so we can see if the Club actually take any notice of our concerns.

Any positives??
