End of Season Party vs Arsenal?!

Does anyone know if Girlbob stayed to the end?
Stayed till that whistle went then I gave him my goodbye wave

Walking out on the final whistle and not staying for Manuel's speech was actually the classy way to protest.

Flying planes around the ground, white hankies, booing the team, bricks through the board room windows etc,etc are more common occurrences at many clubs including this one in the past.

He can't complain. He got away lightly.

That's what is baffling me. We actually supported him throughout the game yesterday. It's lose lose what ever we do because the good will never get reported. Half the ppl sharing the picture don't go to any games anyway. Slag off everyone's support from the comfort of there own living room

Bizarre isn't it? Around me in 327 loads usually leave early but everybody stayed until the final whistle yesterday, getting behind the team and willing us to get the winner.

As soon as the final whistle went everybody seemed to rise as one and head for the exits but there was no booing or any other form of protest other than the exit.

It was all very dignified but the message was clear. We can't win can we?

We're a tough audience and we've been through hard times and adversity following our club week in week out at great expense. We can put up with losing, bad results, relegation, false dawns, etc etc. But what we won't put up with is half arsed incompetence, lethargy and apathy that have dripped isdiously down form this manager. Instead of being "embarrassed" by the party turn out, perhaps you should be proud that we aren't foamy mouthed lap dogs that will swallow up any old spin, and instead demand endeavour and "pride in battle". Makes us spoilt brats does it? Oh well. You turn up and clap next time.
Couldn't agree more.

Well said sir. City fans -the last refuge of the ragged individual.

Bang on the money .
Unlike some City fans I couldn't be bothered singing the Pellegrini song .
I used to love the Mancini and Eriksson songs .
At least with Pep coming we should at least get a man with some charisma .
And he will be play some mind games with the media .
The press have had an easy time having. Mr Boring in charge of City .
Plus he always told the press his team news without any secrets

Clearly the spectre of Pep has hidden a lot of disaffection with regards to the job Pellegrini has been doing the last 2 years. Instead it's all been hidden away on forums, twitter and blogs

If Pellegrini had years left on a contract and Pep wasn't just around the corner we would have seen much more open disgruntlement with the underachievement since 13/14, esp. considering there has never been a connection between the fanbase and Pellegrini, as there was with Mancini

I didn't realise the club had Pellegrini out there watching highlights of the last 3 years, I thought it was just a quick speech and that was it. You would have thought that the club wouldn't have made him stand there doing that given the walkout. Feel a bit sorry for him in that respect, despite wanting him gone last summer, nvm earlier this season.

No we can't win. If all the fans had stayed to the end and chanted his name for hours we would have been accused of accepting and supporting a so called failure. Or of not wanting Pepe to come and Manuel to stay. Leave and we get a negative reaction too.

Fuck other fans spouting shit about something that doesn't concern them and fuck the wankers of the press who will slate us whatever we do!

We're Man City. ...we do what we want!!

How motivational does everyone thing leaving at the final whistle will prove should the Swansea result matter?
Just a question, will players thing we owe them, not surprised fans pissed off or do you think the attitude will be fuck them, I'm off anyway.
Food for thought

Whichever camp you sit in - I am sure the manager and players will get a good send off at Swansea - win or lose.
