End of the world - 2012

I'll be really dissapointed if nothing does happen. Was anybody else gutted when there was no killer millenium bug thing? I was.
 
I have read a few theories which state that the Earth's rotational speed is slowing down and will grind to a halt in 2012 ( The 3 day's light/dark scenario in the Bible ) then the earth will start to rotate in the other direction gradually gaining the same momentum ! I think if this happens then Peeps who have no spiritual (not in a Religious sense) empathy, will literally shit themselves !! A new world age will begin and peeps will have more respect for one and other and Mother Gaia !
 
Wouldn't everything just float away when if the planet stopped spinning? Or have i misunderstood the whole gravity thing?
 
belief systems & religions are all opinions and cant be backed up by fact.

in other words its all a load of shit, Fact!!
 
I know someone who has opted out of a very good pension for the last 4/5 years on the basis of this. He is not thick but his mind is warped.
 
Frankly, the way I'm starting to feel, I couldn't give a flying fcuk if the world ends tonight.
