Highlights England's problems really. Henderson or Drinkwater, Wilshere or Dier, Rashford or not?
Spain have not selected, Torres, Cazorla, Mata or Costa. France left out Benzema and Ribery has retired, as has Philip Lahm and Marco Reus has been left out. Imagine England leaving out those players.

Benzema was left out for non football reasons though.

Against Portugal Vardy, Kane and Alli were all out of position to accommodate Rooney. The 3 best attacking players this season made way for Rooney.

Indeed he was. Just trying to compare who's not going around Europe, with us having to choose between 3 players who played 3 full games between them in the last month of the season, a player who has been playing in the PL for only 4 months and Danny Drinkwater.
