there was a time you could have been hung, drawn and quartered for writing that but I think it would be awfully, awfully anachronistic - just quartering is awful enough for you...

I didnt realise that Flower of Scotland was written in the 1970s and isnt their official anthem.

Jerusalem is great, but the words are a bit controversial like
 
There is only one anthem for The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The national songs for each of England, Ireland(Northern), Scotland and Wales are of little importance. Hence Scotland using a pop song from the seventies. They should have gone with bye bye baby if you ask me.
