England shirt?

When did they start playing Cricket?

I reckon it's only people over 40 who like that shirt as it takes them back to the day when kits were plain and simple.

My personal opinion is that it is gash. It's too dated. I like the traditional element in things, but that is an awful shirt and no way would i buy it, if its genuine.

Interesting difference in views between the oldies and the sprogs. Give me a choice between a simple classic design and this fooking monstrosity;

Im taking simple every time. Guess that makes me an oldie then.... ;-)

I'm young so its not just oldies.

England shirts in general are a mess. Hence why I was not too impressed about the idea of them being our kit sponsor again.

But this shirt has changed my perception of the company.

Im thinking if this is an indicator to the way they are going andthey are making our shirts, keep the collar white with plane sky blue body and a badge minus those fookin god awfull stars and we will have something not a million miles away from one of the more popular designs in the photoshop kit thread .. i would be well pleaed with that ,tradition and class ..

If they do a modern version of the 76 cup final shirt in this style for next year i may well by my first shirt for years!

I think the England shirt is looking awesome and a City one which goes back into the archives for its inspiration is an awesome idea.. was really disappointed that it was looking like our next shirt was gonna be Umbro (was crying out for Puma myself) but if they follow this approach with ours then I think we have the best shirt out there again..

What ideas do people have for the away shirt thou? Red and Black again, although this time wider stripes as from a distance our current one just looks dark!!

Oh and please no more fucking awful orange numbers!!
