I am absolutely amazed that this England team could beat that Belgium team, even with Boyata and Denayer as two of Belgium's centre-backs.
 
Commentator keeps telling us it’s a statement win as the camera pans from player to player all looking like they can’t wait to fuck off out of there. Their reaction at the end shows how valued this is.

I honestly think Belgium didn't bother as soon as Martinez took KdB out. Win is win, but the way we played was not good at all. Compared to WC 2018, no improvement at all.

to be honest. I’m not fussed about Southgate, he’s alright - like he picks a lot of young players and players on form. Other than that, I’m abit meh about him.

It’s just the pre match abuse he and players get, all slagging off the line up, the formation and how we’re definately going to lose. It’s frustrating. Can’t people wait to see how it pans out first , and if we lose than have a field day slagging everything off.

ah well. We’re a nation of moaners and always will be.

It's no different to what happens in the City match day threads. Most City fans including myself couldn't give a shit about England, I watch only to see how our players get on.

If you don't like you know what to do.

I blame loads of us watching Les Dawson as kids. They said he was a comedian but he delivered most of it like a death notice with a miserable face. It rubs off on you.
