They're playing Japan who's coach just offered his resignation and it's been refused. Their team is at low ebb. To me it looks like Cappello is giving the also rans a chance to impress. I think he knows his 23 and this game will confirm it.
Green will be his No 1 and Harty and DJ are fighting for 2nd choice, and, as others have said i think Johnno will be the impact sub to run at tired player if needed.

How anybody could think Theo Walcott is a better player than AJ is a bewildering mystery to me.

I think Johnson is already in Capello's 23 to be honest,reading various articles over the last few days in the dailys and it sounds like Johnson has been shining in training,to play Walcott on the left is a bit suprising and i think it's his last throw of the dice.If Lennon or Walcott go at the expense of Johnson i will be both amazed and disgusted in equal measure!
