If Lennon or Walcott go at the expense of Johnson i will be both amazed and disgusted in equal measure!

Lennon has to go and should be 1st choice, agree with Walcott though, there's probably 10 English wide players I'd have ahead of him.

someone like tom huddlestone should be nowhere near any england team.
theo walcott will become the john barnes of this generation for england. i.e gaining shitloads of caps, playing shit every time whilst living off 1 great england moment.

Eh? Tom Huddlestone is a fantastic player!

each to their own, will have to agree to disagree when it comes to tom then. sorry i just dont rate him at all.
it does look like capello thinks a half fit barry is a better bet tho and tbh i agree with him.

Like a few on here I already think that AJ is on the plane, otherwise he would have played him from the start.

Also got a sneaky feeling that SWP is on his way too, and that it is either Lennon or Walcott staying behind!!

I just think that Fabio loves Walcott too much. He has had one decent game for England, been injured most of the season and flatters to deceive. I think that Lennon should go as he has improved this season and was on fire till his injury. SWP and Johnson have done well also - SWP was great in his last game for England. I can`t see both going to the WC and it would be harsh on SWP to miss out twice on the row. I hope that Fab is saving Johnson as his wild card and doesn`t want to show too much of him off to the opposition. We shall see but fingers crossed he is on the plane and Walcott isn`t.

Believe me, Walcott will be going. For some strange, totally unfathomable reason Capello rates him. Can't for the life of me see it myself: he's a sprinter, that's about it. He'll tear up and down the wing all bloody day long but his final delivery will be woeful. SWP can be a bit hit-and-miss as well regarding his final touch, but nowhere near as bad as Walcott.
