Come on. You must have seen the same turgid, talentless crap. We get slagged all the time, and at times justified, but that shows how thin the talent layer is in England. Your leagues the best, but it has very little to do with English players. And after that, it’s easy to see why,

England are shit because they always employ a safe pair of hands type manager who won’t rock the boat but won’t inspire, they get piss easy qualifying groups, good players are overhyped. The English league has always been strong, between 77-82 English clubs won the European Cup six years on the bounce, but like you allude to the foreigners are the real stars these days, except Phil Foden of course.
