Cut throat.Harsh mate. At the end of the day you see a player and rate him as a footballer, anything else is knee jerk.
You only get a handful of matches at a tournament like this. We can’t afford Kane to be a passenger in any more games.
no doubt he’s a world class footballer but that doesn’t mean he’ll be the right player to win certain matches. FWIW I reckon he’ll get his form back vs Scotland/Czech Republic, but if he doesn’t we shouldn’t accommodate a passenger.

To be fair, he also said it’s been a long season and he couldn’t wait to get to England duty too. Not saying that it implies he’s unhappy, but more just that its been a tough club season for him, which it has.
He's found it difficult this year. He was affected by Foden usurping him in the team and we are playing in a way that probably doesn't suit him so much but if we sign Kane, it will change again and suit him more.
