This all day , the praise for Saka and Sancho has been in the extreme , neither of them produced anything when they have played , to be fair neither did Foden apart from hitting the post with a decent effort. Its just the usual tournament fervour , Pickford is Gordon Banks , Shaw is Roberto Carlos , McGuire is Beckanbauer , Phillips is Pirlo the list goes on , love the blind faith some of our fans have in England but i've been watching them f*ck up for over 50 years, so any semi-final/quarter finals i find trepidation the best accompaniment ,then anything else that happens is a bonus.
Having said the above , COME ON ENGAND , YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU, after the last 18 months of shite we have all endured.

Because tournament football isn't the same as club football. Not even slightly. Club football gets you on the plane that's all. Foden got his chance based on his club form, he had 2 opportunities to nail down his starting spot, he did nothing of note and so somebody else got the chance and performed better. Its not a case of him being dropped, it's a case of somebody was given a chance and did better so the shirt is theirs to lose.
