Not sure why everyone keeps saying he’s not fit, etc. This is Harry Kane. He’s a player that likes it to feet. There’s a reason he drops into midfield which allows him to gets assists.

He’s not going to make those runs in behind. He smashes his goals from just outside the box or passes from outside to runners behind him. He knows how to hit it. Hence his goal record.

Yes he dives a lot. Not the most mobile but this is Harry Kane. Wasn’t it said somewhere that he isn’t injured or lacking fitness? Not had a good tournament but he still has his goal record as evidence that he knows where the goal is.

Southgate has moulded this England team into the same fine mould as his Middlesbrough side.

Outside of Kane they have all played well. The midfield 2 are limited but they've kept the German midfield out of the game. The wingback the same, not attacking much but stifling their opposite numbers.

The one problem is Kane. And maybe Grealish/Mount/Foden could do what Saka is doing while having more about them creatively.

They have walked straight through the middle of us twice in 2 mins at around 30 mins the second when Werner should have bagged.

Need to hook Kane and move Sterling inside bringing Grealish or Phil on.

Both Rice and Phillips now on yellows, so he has to keep an eye on that.
