I half agree, I’ve seen most games and feel like England are the only team that’s had the handbrake on the whole tournament. However, we’ve stayed in longer than every team from the ‘group of death’ and the world champions. As a fan I suppose you always want to see your team attack but I can understand why Southgate had chosen the path he has. It is based on seeing teams like Greece and Denmark win this competition.
