The problem with playing this turgid dogshit is if we get to the final,which we should do looking at the opposition, and then get beat by a decent team it will forever grate. Not just the supporters but also the players.

Some will do the usual wow we got to the final hurrah bollocks like the last tournament when we got to the semi by beating literally no one.

Also by creating so little it doesn’t take much for a Sweden or Denmark to beat us. Last nights game was more of a coin toss than people realise.

If we can’t give Credit to a England manager reaching a Final then it just shows the deep rooted negativity ingrained in our fans.

We can’t keep forever labelling every team we play as ‘shit’ because all these so called ‘shit teams’ are pulling out results against the top ranked countries in the world.

In fairness mate you give England enough credit to cover the whole forum. I’m not sure you know what a good team actually is. We did get a solid draw against Scotland though a very decent team no doubt, no Iceland mind but then who is?

If we beat Belgium in the final I will give Waistcoat the credit he deserves, actually beating a good side however dull it may be.

There is a dearth of talent amongst the normal top international sides it’s why France were highly fancied(shame about that brain fart:-))

It terms of ability England and Belgium I would say have more decent players than anyone left in the competition. You can name the embarrassment of riches these other decent sides have if you like. It would be interesting to see.

I wasn't being political. I chose them at random as a guess of the many who will come out of the woodwork in career moves in the next few days and beyond. But politicians in general will lead the charge. Its good lazy TV for the BBC.
It's 40 odd years since l watched England at Wembley. I have jumbled memories of Malcoim Mcdonald scoring all five against Cyprus, Colin Bell getting stick for being 'Norven' and the Kaiser being called 'a fucking Kraut bastard' when he deliberately handled after being beaten but having a big smile on his face.
