England v Hungary | Nations League | Tues 14th June '22

You mean the guy who managed City to a season of games scoring a massive 11 goals at home?
Still, Southgate took Middlesbrough from UEFA cup finalists and an established premier league side of about 13 years and took them down and they never really recovered. That’s pretty much his managerial background

The guy just isn’t a good manager. I’m not gonna say he hasn’t done well in tournaments but it’s not like we went through a murderers row of teams to get deep in the tournaments either.

Still, he’s a social justice warrior and has a good image , so who cares about managerial ability?

Rests Henderson because he knows what he is all about but calls up injured Walker and Stones who barely played for us at the back end of the season and plays them often. Puts on Slabhead to keep it down to 3 with a few minutes left who then pretends to be a traffic cone and plays them onside for the 4th.
Phillips, god knows what he offers, Saka invisible again, Kane diving ( that should have been a yellow), laughable Stones sending off, Mount awful again when he came on.
Least now the players have a rest

Pointless meaningless games ok I will have that but come on they have just been shafted at home by Hungary not one of the top nations bleeding Hungary ...........and if this set of games was all about experimenting etc then why take the players that he knows already what they can do ?????
Still been saying it for ages he’s basically had a free ride on the back of the white produced by Hodgson............the public now know what they can do as a team he ain’t gonna get with a failure in Qatar
