Torres has his qualities but fighting hard isn't one of them, it's why he often has completely anonymous games and probably the main reason we didn't see him in any of our last 3 games

England's build up play would be much better with a player like Rodri. Rice is barely involved and the build up is laborious.

Defenders are tight to him. He's not getting a lot of space to work with.

If I'm going to criticise him it's that he's not as mobile as he should be but then the midfield are not moving the ball fast enough allowing defenders to get into position.

I think it is the defence that is not moving the ball quick enough
