I have heard more Xmas songs today than I have anything football related
 
FA - "we feel so strongly about this, we will defy fifa with our token gesture"
Fifa - "we'll give you a meaningless booking if you do"
FA - "The risk is too big, the token gesture we've made such a big deal about for weeks won't be made after all"

So when their bullshit gestures might finally actually send a message, they shit themselves and back down. They'll take a booking for scoring and taking their shirt off but won't take a booking to take a stance on human rights. Fannies
