At least Del Bosque only plays Silva 60 minutes per match it seems. ;)Damocles said:Due to us having 2 majorly key players in the England first eleven, it benefits City the most over the course of the next year to get them on their holidays as soon as possible. I also want Spain out for the same reason. In Balotelli's position, we have Tevez, Aguero and Dzeko who can rotate to help his fitness as they have not been as a major international tournament this summer. At centre back and goalkeeper, we are short and cannot afford one of them to break their leg..

How about the PL title you knob.

To be honest Pidge, you're full of shit here for several reasons, mainly because you are placing England on the same level of importance as City in one breath and then slagging off others who do the same. It's as tiresome as your agenda posts, like talking to the Red Dwarf Toaster
Tell me how, and who, i've slagged anyone off. Have I said 'you're **** for not wanting England to progress'? No.
It's simple really. Are City and England the same type of passion in you?
For most of us, they aren't. City as a club and a community represent me and my heritage. The England team represent nothing to me. Due to this, we want the thing that benefits our club side the most to happen. Balotelli needs a big tournament to get the boo boys off his back (which I do understand that you are not part of), and earn the respect that he deserves from the general footballing public. We want him to do this because we all want a special player at the club and Balotelli can be this, so we are pulling for him to make a big impression more than we are others who are not on the verge of greatness such as Milner.

Lescott and Hart are players who do not generate the same level of split that Balotelli does. Lescott should be England's next rock and Hart is already number one for the next year no matter what happens today. They do not need the performance like Balotelli does and they would go back to City blaming underperformance on whatever the media decides to blame it on. Italians will slate Balo is he has a bad game and it will ruin him for another six months.
It really is pretty simple. I want England out at the expense of a great Balotelli performance as it is the scenario which benefits City the most. I care about City as a club and as a community that I am a part of and represents me, whereas England National Team are a bunch of cunts who live in ivory towers and in no way represent the populace.
I don't care about England, I care about City. The above scenario represents the maximum possible benefit to City.
