Wasn’t Raheem Sterling absolute shite….as he has been for months. Only English players who actually ran at Scotland were Phil Foden and Luke Shaw. I’m Scottish so was thrilled that Sterling played - it’s like a twelfth man. Imagine him and Harry Kane together next season…….hopefully not at the Etihad. £600,000 a week for those two???

Foden and Grealish are our best two creators/attackers and we are yet to see them play together.It was painfully obvious changes,the right changes....were needed at HT and yet the uninspiring and clueless bellend in charge failed to recognise that.
No one other than Stones and Pickford registered above 7/10,most were a 5 or 6.....but then to judge a player under the instruction and leadership of Southgate would not be particularly fair,he is no way fit to get the best out of individuals or a collective.

I thought your players showed loads of ability, they passed it around England's midfield with ease.
Make no mistake, the result wasn't just about grit and determination, the Scottish midfield players especially were every bit as good as their English counterparts & outshone them on the night

That's it in a nutshell. He got the job by default, qualified from a group that are designed to let the top nations qualify, then had a decent world cup, more by accident than design. He is never going to be a top manager so long as he has a hole in his arse. What he is for the morons at the FA is the safe bet, the nice guy.
