Who is the last player that Senegal want to see in our starting line-up? Clue: Phil Foden.

Don't know how much we can go off of that video above but in the last part when the attackers and midfielders are having a match; Henderson, Rice, Bellingham, Rashford, Foden and Kane aren't present.

So based on that I think we're going to see:

---------------Pickford
Walker---Stones---Maguire---Shaw
---------Henderson---Rice
Rashford----Bellingham-------Foden
-----------------Kane

Not sure what Henderson did to retain his spot. Even I would rather Mount play than him.

Foden won’t be playing

I just don’t see Southgate dropping both sterling and Saka seeing as he did last game

And I don’t see him dropping Rashford

So it’s Rashford and one of the aforementioned

Phil on the bench unless waistcoat suddenly has a change of mindset and decides Foden can play instead of Mount

Don't hold your breath as Southgate is a risk free **** of a manager who doesn't know how to get the best out of talent at his disposal .

Mount can do everything except but be outstanding or inspirational - ie totally bland and unspectacular .

I am not a fan, but I can see why Southgate is sticking with him.

We lack midfield experience and game management with just Bellingham and Rice and unfortunately for us, Henderson is the best option we have for that.

It also takes a bit of captain responsibility away from Kane leaving him to focus on scoring goals which he has been struggling with currently.

Southgate is such a Fanny.

He doesn’t want to play Foden. But he knows if he doesn’t and we go out then that will be all the talk and in years to come when Phil is genuinely a top 3 player in the world and the greatest player the Prem and England have seen, there will be comments about how Southgate didn’t play him.

That will be his lasting legacy, not the two piss easy runs to a WC semi and Euros final that we should have gone one step further in each if we had a proper manager.

shame Phillips isnt quite 90 mins ready. Southgate will always play 2 DM so id rather one of them be phillips who at least can pass forwards.

I'm not one of Southgates biggest supporters but, give him a bit of credit for picking Foden(when confirmed),and overseeing the team into the knockouts again.
We've got a chance of going further, let's hope it doesn't pan out like the last two tourneys.
