It’s fucking Bayern in the Bundesliga. There is a reason only one player in the Premier League has ever gotten close to the sort of goal scoring domination the likes of Lewandowski and Kane achieved in Germany or Ronaldo and Messi in Spain. It is simply harder to consistently score at the top level in England because the average quality of the opposition is much higher. Once more, even when you have a very good year, the opposition management have the wherewithal to devise systems and tactics to nullify your game the next season.

Kane looked good in a team built to dominate a weaker league.

It is why Haaland still doesn’t get enough credit for his record-crushing season or even this last season.
