Foden isn't given the freedom with England that Kev gets with City.

In the past, I might agree with this, but Foden has been all over the pitch when he's playing. Southgate has given him quite a long leash. He's my favourite player, but he needs to play better. Eze, Gordon, and Palmer are all playing well, and if they get the opportunity, it's going to be hard for Phil to get his spot back with Bellingham a lock centrally and Saka on the right.

Foden was a biggest creative threat whilst he was on. Probably, as a whole, for the match, full stop.

Fighting a losing battle with him. He doesn’t give Phil much credit in a blue shirt so you’ve got no chance of getting anything positive whilst in the England shirt.
