I never mentioned rag players so wrong, me saying England are crap on bluemoon means nothing to the England football team that’s just stupid. Seriously mate use some logic your tub thumping for the England national team is embarrassing. We don’t have the players and were poor in the World Cup but benefitted from a very lucky draw. These are the facts if you don’t want to see it that’s your look out.
Notice how I answer your points so please do me the same courtesy. When was the last time we beat decent opposition in a major tournament? It’s a pretty simple question.

Where do I start?how on earth do they represent all that is wrong with our game ???? loads of young players, quite a few of which have come through the lower leagues as well. if anything it was probably the most representative england side in years. applying your logic how do city represent you ? bunch of multi millionaires, with barely connection at all to manchester or the fans. ( not saying all of them)
most of the country supports england and gets behind them. for example manchester when we played sweden and croatia - I've never seen it as busy.
if they are that irrelevant why are you posting on here about them ??.
The first point in my defence, m'lud, is that I was referring to the hierarchy in the FA being more interested in the financial aspect of the matches rather than the best team being picked on ability to perform. That's what is wrong with the England set up.
1. Loads of young players coming via lower leagues. Isn't that how most English players start off. In lower leagues, and get poached by the big boys, or am I being overly cynical?
2. Representative in years. In what way? Most from 3 teams plus a few others, or are we talking about the age mix?
3. How do City represent me? They wear a blue shirt , the same, I presume, as the team you support. Yes, the same multi millionaires you shout for.
4. Most of the country supports England. Most of the country don't go to football matches and couldn't tell you who played for England unless they saw their pictures in the Sun or on the gogglebox. As for busy, have you been to the Christmas markets?
5. Why am I posting? It's a forum. Why are you?

We used to produce skilful players / mavericks , Tony Currie , Glenn Hoddle , Paul Gascoigne , Rodney Marsh , Stan Bowles , Frank Worthington and more , we don't have any individual brilliance , we have dullards like Henderson and Dier with absolutely no aptitude to play the beautiful game
'Dullards' like Henderson and Dier have done more in an England shirt than any of the players you mentioned except Paul Gascoigne.

What do you mean done more? Henderson and Dier have not won a god damn thing with England. And a favourable group draw to the semis, does not count. Not sure how old you are but hendo and Dier, ain't fit to clean the boots of those players mentioned above. Fuckin ell, comparing those two the above in form is like comparing an Atari to an x box. Those players inspired a generation of kids and players and beyond. Reached a World cup semi-final for another.
How many major international tournaments did Tony Currie, Rodney Marsh, Stan Bowles and Frank Worthington win with England?
We didn't even qualify for the World Cup in '74 and '78.
