I do think a better manager would have changed things around earlier and better. I'm not sure he's got the guts to try something different when it's not going to plan. We looked better with Grealish on the pitch, why not earlier. Then Mount instead of Foden is bizarre as nearly everyone is saying. Rice and Bellingham I believe are decent players but never contributed anything. They needed some clear instructions to have an influence on this game, or replacing with someone else. Maybe it was the game plan from a very defensive manager that made us look poor. Kane is always likely to score from scraps so I understand why he left him on, but he has no pace, so it's up to the players around him to contribute and Sterling and Saka didn't. Oh well. We might end up second in the group if we don't play well against Wales. Not sure how that would affect anything.
