Remember this is a guy that subbed on a goal keeper to play up front.
If he’s the expert we really are in trouble.

I also don’t agree with the your point about talent. In my opinion we’ve had much stronger sides, with better individuals. The 96 side and the 2004 side in particular - the failed generation. I think we have lots of overhyped individuals, with a couple of top talents.

We can’t help who we play either. We’ve had so called east games in the past and always lost or struggled.

I agree with your points about style of play/ negativity, but hopefully we can go far. I’ll take the boring football if we win a trophy

Among many he thought Mount played in the front 3 and Rashford would offer more defensively than Foden as a direct replacement for Sako.

He got the job by default due to Allardyce being his usual shady greedy self. He has some of the best talent at his disposal and I'll say it again, any success if we get any will be in spite of him and not because of him. We're in yet another easy group, Wales, USA and Iran and are stuttering through it. Our football is turgid, negative and fearful. He has no plan B and if we go behind his whole gameplan is fucked because we're relying on defending, set pieces and hope. He's a typical safe FA appointment. Politically correct, bland, boring, never going to rock the boat. I hope he takes his waistcoat and fucks off back to Middlesbrough where he belongs.
