They are not underdogs anymore, they are ranked 16th in the world
And why are they 16th?? Because of their performance in the World cup. This is their first game against England in underlining that factor.
Don't you get it??
Desailly was born in Ghana.Squatter said:Lescott wasn't tight enough and got owned. Shame because he'd done quite well until then. Maybe he'll learn for the weekend.
Nice to see Desailly jumping on the Ghana bandwagon. "we love our Gyan" etc etc.

Bigga said:BoyBlue_1985 said:That celebration over nothing but an equaliser goes right up with the Rooney celebrating like he won the Universe and Infinity Cup in the semi apart from this game ment nothing!!
The celebration was about Ghana being HUGE underdogs. They don't have the facilities England do and are classed very much Third Tier football.
A touch of class brings the equaliser, not a miss kick, and you become a hater.
Whatever, man.

He has been a hater all night.
Does he? Well, I think Desailly's a good pundit and a nice bloke, regardless of where his allegiances lie. He's fresh off the pitch and knows the game well. He talks sense and doesn't ever suffer from rose-tinted specs like the idiots around him.BoyBlue_1985 said:MCFC BOB said:Desailly was born in Ghana.
He still supports everyone, very strange when he does pundit he supports everyone

I can understand why it may seem a little strange to some people, but Desailly chose France because he felt he was good enough to get into their international team and go for the World Cup, and not just the occasional African honour with Ghana. There's nothing wrong with him believing in his football abilities. I never really saw him play, but being a regular feature in AC Milan's and Chelsea's winning sides, he must have had something about him.Squatter said:MCFC BOB said:Desailly was born in Ghana.
Maybe he should have played for Ghana if he's so proud. Quite strange how patriotic he was imo
Btw I don't dislike him I just find it a little strange

I like him. He's the cheery black guy surrounded by three dismal white blokes. Like Cleveland in Family Guy.
